So uh, where are the shaders?

Catch-all for all development not having a specific forum.

I was introduced to Allegiance by a friend of a friend because he knew I was interested in tinkering around with a game that used DX. As I was looking around, I'm having trouble finding the shader files. Or for that matter any place in the code that seems to use shaders. Am I missing something or is this all done in the fixed pipeline?

This game was developed in DirectX before HLSL. You will have to *add* shader support

These bugs haven't been fixed yet because don't have any developers interested in fixing them up. --Tigereye

Huh? I don't get it? Just like how notjarvis didn't get how I was answering your question you posted in the subject of your helpline thread regarding the black edges on the HUD icons.

You totally confused me there, are you sure you mean notjarvis's response? Not fuzzylunkin? nvm.

Re: lulz
I was amused by mention of shaders in such an old game... it's a bit like having a kid ask which button switches to first person view in Double Dragon.
I always find it amusing when people ask about recently contrived features with regards to really old tech. A few weeks ago a kid asked to borrow my cellphone in the street... his jaw dropped whe I whipped out my ~13 year old phone... :D

Thought as much. Hmm, should be interesting.

If I wanted to have a chat/discussion with someone on Allegiance's architecture and ask a few questions, which dev should I be bugging? This appears to be Imago for all intents and purposes.
