The Knowledgebase has some articles on starting to play but your main resource should be the f1 help menu in game or the Academy.

i'm not sure but it involves sitting around for 20mins waiting for a game to start, losing after 15mins and then spending 1/2 an hour trying to find new comms. i think its realistic that way.

p.s. if people start spamming the word "NAN" on the chat it means to launch with a scout with the nanite gun equiped and shoot your team(yes YOUR team). this seems to be important...

Oh and if anyone is being hostile to you because you're a new player then let an admin (someone with @Alleg after their nick) know or PM BlackViper on the forums. We welcome new players to allegiance and punish people who try to drive them away.

i've never thought of it like that, interesting.

but i think most of the time it is generally a hider, not a noob doing well... but then again, i was awesome from the start (of week 2), week 1 was kinda confusing, like the time loads of our figs went over and owned a base (giga op) and i was like, wtf? if we get enough figs with gat 3 we can kill bases? why is everyone saying galvs?

anyway, this new guy shouldnt have such extensive knowledge of how alleg works

Nope...he's a friend that's crashing at my apartment, saw me playing Allegiance, and got hooked.
