Allegiance trickle down any more in population size, when it should be increasing! The market initiatives have been great, but there is something still missing from the formula.

I don't want that time to be a @#(!-storm of hate and schadenfreude.
CDT and such seem to not be doing as well these days
But mostly I think it's just the age of the game

Get over yourselves, don't try to win arguments on the internet where the option of a punch in the mouth is unavailable

And by "newbie" i don't mean only the newbie tag, but also up to 7-8 rank.

QFT. I have been in too many PUG's where it ends up being some king of whorefest against newbies and stacked against commanders. That is not fun.Koln wrote:QUOTE (Koln @ Jul 20 2010, 11:34 AM) Thunder

some ideas on data we could try to collect
1- how did the players find out about the game (such as; frends, a article about it, found it by chance, a dream sent by god informing them about the game)
2- what percent of the new players end up in afs
3- what percent of afs students end up in cdt
things we could do
1- make common technical problems and their solutions more visible to new player, because losing potential players to a fixable problem is bad
(i for instance had change the resolution on my game so it would be tolerable on my laptop, I've seen newbs ask about this in game, and as a general rule for every one that asks there are at least ten that dont)(i also had to minimize the effects of Screwy graphics so i could see anything.)
there's probably more things we could try
