Even though loud mouth, drunk, MrChaos was in NOAT being a bit of a tool last night he didnt get a lobby ban. I wasn't doing anything disruptive enough for one, and if an @alleg had said shhh Id have shhhed (and probably have apologized too). The point being is i kind of figure I got a pass on something others would have got the back of the hand. Some of it is body of work and Id argue that should play a role BUT vigilante justice, and oh this dude isnt in teh Cool Kid Club reasoning for breaking the rules sucks ass.

j9 aka sharkbait was threatening to hostage server, telling us to go find an @alleg, and that he was going afk.
He was commander of blue, I attempted to lobby ban him while he was still on blue, Not as to actually lobby ban him, but for the humor element, as you can not boot someone from a team. You can see I was not the only person surprised by the fact he was booted. I then say opps, I am probably getting a ban now. I had no intentions of actually lobby banning him, since he was on a team. He must have left the exact second, i typed #ban.....
Beyond that. I can post logs showing when you lobby banned me, I was NOT spamming. I was saying I thought soccer was more boring than other sports. I was having a discussing about soccer in noat, with several people chiming in. He is free to mute noat at ANY time. Some people are overly defensive about soccer. I got banned from the RT IRC channel today for saying the soccer rules did not make sense, when the ghana player faked an injury, rides a stretcher, then jumps up and runs away. Clearly he was injured....
Whine some more shark. You threaten to hostage a server, and then come whine. Hah!

1. He didn't go AFK as threatened.
2. You can threaten all you want to go AFK, but continuing to threaten just negates going AFK because you're still @ your keys.
3. He dropped comm, proving that his threat was empty. Yet was banned anyhow, in the midst of @alleg's.
Ban not deserved.

You ban him while he is actual still there and responding, and never once ask if one of the people present was an @Alleg. News flash there was one and he was on TS even. Total time one minute and most important your not an @alleg

The issue that took place last night was very clouded within the logs due to it happening almost simultaneously with the person dropping to NOAT. I posted the logs for them to be looked into by a higher authority with the jumbo-stick.
Here is my stance on lobby-bans; Don't do it. If you do, I am going to ban you. When I was looking over the logs last night I had Quantom pulled up on Enforcer and was about to drop the hammer. I only decided not to because I wanted someone else to look into it before I jumped the gun. Other than that, I have banned for lobby-ban, I will ban for lobby-ban, and I will continue to ban for lobby-ban. As a matter of fact I am going lecture (bitch at) you as you drop from the ban.
Once again, if I am online and see anyone lobby-banning I am going to give them a time out. If you feel it is unjust, pm BV. Otherwise enjoy your timeout. There are very few reasons for that command to be entered, and here lately it is being done for @#(! that is ridiculous. Almost like its the "cool" thing to do. Well, just be prepared to cool your booster for a spell if I am around, and for the lulz is not justified in my eyes.
