Bard, what's your opinion about CSS/ASGS?
I have a johnson photo in my profile since 2010.

Is that a trick question?

ASGS was created to do the same thing that ACSS ought to once it's fully tested and functional and that's simply about stopping game-breaking bull@#(!.

People shouldn't be able to fart around with unattached callsigns if their whole reason for doing so is related to the public estimation of their recorded rank and recognition.

Some people will always be douchecanoes but unfortunately there's a need to bitchslap people who find nothing more enjoyable than ruining pick up games.
Until the rare and outspoken douchcanoe fades into history, there's going to be an ever-present need for a secure sign-in system.

It doesn't matter whether it's ASGS or something else in the formal sense, but the problem isn't the sign-in software or the paradigm, it's the popular conception and how some idiots find it fun to circumvent.

Not a trick question. Being here for 2+ years, I know that it is necessary.

I was more interested if it should be developped and maintained as open source (CSS) or only by selected persons(ASGS).

If i could vote, I vote for bard.

I wasn't online during beta testing. I did make it to the last beta test and I'll be there on the next one you can count on that.

And beta testing is only a part of what gets R5 fixed but BEFORE that we need a Dev Lead!

VOTE BARD IN ALREADY AND MOVE ON!!

I don't even know who he is and what he has done for Alleg so this is good for me: more reasons for not having any regrets to return.

As for the rest, you know my opinion already.

Yeah, I guess you have been pretty absent since I showed up.
Too bad, we could use a programmer with your talent if you ever had enough free time to do more than post on occasion.

If you do suddenly get the chance, feel free to check out the trac server.
