Rank lost

Hi,

Since days, I'm Novice 2, this morning I did a game with this rank of level 2 and gain 76 points.
I just connect and read my rank: 1 !!!
What happens ?!!!!!
How gaining points make a rank lost ?!!

in game points dont actually count, win/losses count

when you see the teams 15/100[176]

join the team with the highest number in the brackets, you will win games, and you will rank up.

remember, always try to join the team with the HIGHEST last number

by being on the losing team in a game that your team should have won

Be in the defeated team is how much points less ?

If I understand right, to don't lose points when in the losing team, is only to disconnect before the game end.

It is a complicated mathematical formula. The full details can be found on the wiki.

Disconnecting will not help you. The only way to avoid losing points is ... don't lose!

It should also be pointed out that rank doesn't matter a whole lot in this game. Helping your team win does (the rank will follow).

Points have NOTHING to do with rank. They're completely separate things. There's no way to avoid losing rank - just suck it up and win more games.
