Every time I exit the hangar, my background image of empty space and the stars always has streaks of other textures across the sky at random angles. It doesn't mess up my recognizing of 3D objects, but makes it very hard to see other icons and such through the mess. Nothing else is affected, but it messes up my gameplay.
Specs:
Windows Version (and Service Packs): Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (6.1, Build 7600)
Processor: Intel® Core™ i3 CPU M 330 @ 2.13GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.1GHZ
RAM: 4096MB RAM
Video Card: Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator HD (Core i3)
Make and Version of firewall: Windows Firewall
Make and version of anti-virus: McAfee Trial (Expired, but still in some programs)
Confirm that you have the following installed:
* .Net 2.0 [Unsure]
Problem Encountered: When I exit the hangar into space
Which Program (ASGS/Allegiance): Allegiance
What Error Message: None
Comments : I thought maybe it was due to my widescreen (16:9) monitor, but when I set the game up for widescreen, the problem still existed.
I tried to take some screenshots, but they show up as black bitmap images. If any of you could help me figure out that, then I could get them up.
Oh yeah, just to add another note I can join servers and play normally. This I have tested.
Ingame Background Graphic Problems
It is a known bug with Intel graphics chipsets. It's supposedly fixed in the R6 release of the client, which is currently in the beta stage (nearing release).
Here are the instructions on how to test the beta (you cannot play with the beta client on the main servers though). Give it a shot and see if it fixes it. I am pretty sure, that the our Developers will greatly appreciate any input on whether this issue has been resolved, so make sure to report your findings in the forum I've linked above.

I have a problem accessing R6 Beta.
It does everything as normal, and then says Allegiance has a bad signature. Here is the log.
• Initializing
• Reading Settings
• Logging Option: SIMPLE
• Loading MRU Callsigns
• Loading Form Position
• Checking Installation
• Checking OOBE
• Ready
• Checking for system updates
• Checking for existing processes
• Saving Settings
• Saving MRU Callsigns
• Checking connectivity
• Using Port: DirectPlay
• Checking ASGS Client Version
• Client Version: 212
• Server Version: 210
• Securing Installation
• Validating Installation
• Unable to validate Allegiance installation.
• File ASGSClient.exe has an invalid signature.
Any way to fix? Or do I have to wait for R6?
EDIT: I tried updating it, but at the end it had an error message "Cannot delete existing ASGSClient.exe"
EDIT2: Now I can't play R5 Allegiance, as it has the same signature error. :/

Oh wow, that's weird. Normally when I double click it, it automatically runs as Administrator. Testing Beta now.
EDIT: Wow, that space background is neat. Can't wait for R6! (For those who don't understand, Beta fixed the issue.)
