for a long time now i noticed that i dont hear my own ships sounds!
like afterburner and shots and even a the"dispenser empty " sound.
i only hear then when they happen when i change from and to the f3 map.
i can hear every other sound just fine.
so is that meant to be so your own sounds wont piss you off or is it a bug? (i didnt play for more then a year so i dont know if anyone did that)
and if it helps i do have CortUI-1.76 installed. but im quiet sure its the same without it.
i kinda got use to this but... i kinda get pissed when i keep clicking and no mines come out! (i cant hear when im out)
sound bug?

Well if it is a sound file - it's one other peoples installation fails to have.kalix wrote:QUOTE (kalix @ Apr 20 2010, 07:55 AM) all that is after a fresh install.
and i told you i can hear them sometimes when i pass for f3 to space. so i know the files are there and working.
i think something(may be anther "blank" sound) is blocking them!
Did you delete the Allegiance folder after your uninstall? As sometimes files are left over.
Other things. Have you tried playing with your sound options in-game?
Try low-> High quality etc.?
Mess with all the options - see if that makes a difference.
Or try turning on/off hardware Acceleration for your sound card....
