The following maps do not have their preview images download automatically:

Awesome <- noooooooo
Da Vinci
Lead
Tin
Zinc
Carbon
Sodium
Granite
Dollar
Boron
Copper
Cobalt
Quartz
Sunstone
Garnet
Jasper
Xenon
Radon
Silver
Iron

I asked one of the staff about it, and he managed to reproduce the problem by going into his artwork folder and deleting the related file that provides the image for these maps, then attempting to have it download again.

Um, don't delete stuff from your artwork folder? Reinstall will fix your problem. Remember to back up inputmap1.mdl from Artwork.

They aren't on AU, I've told TE/TB.

Even if they were, don't you need to delete the "filelist.txt" so it's created again and AU notices you don't have the maps anymore?

by IB saying not on AU he means AU does not care to see whether you have the maps or not. Simple solution would be anyone who can upload files to the wiki to add it from their own artwork folder which should hopefully contain most of the custom maps, dunno why Raveen is being lazy about it saying people haven't sent him maps when he already has the maps in his artwork folder :P

They are not in the installer. These maps were added after R5 was released.
The previews were on auto-update for a months or so (which is how most players got them), but then TigerEye removed them again when he was asked to cut down the list of auto-update files.

Anyone who reinstalled alleg in the past month (this includes my new PC) does not have previews for these maps.

Hmm. Noted. Will poke him about incuding those into the next installer release.

I've confirmed that these files are not in the latest installer.
I'd like to add them now, but I've checked and I can't find these map files.

Can anyone link me to these files so I can include them in the installer?

Thanks,
