Joystick just Kicks Inertia and Angular Acceleration like Chuck Norris...

When using a joystick it feels wierd because when we yaw/pitch, if you release the control the rotation motions stops instantly, wich is weird. Although, supposedly, the ship has a killrotation function to stabilize the craft but this is way to hard... any pilot pitching up and releasing controls would instantly break his neck as the ship stop instantanious rotation, but your head would keep going with the same angular motion (Inertia). With moouse controll is not quite weird because you just drag, slowly approaching the center of the screen, slowing down movement, keeping it fluid.

Is there any setting that can change this behaviour?

Best Regards.

Move your joystick to the middle more slowly.

Uhm, I’m not sure I understood you too well … If you look at your momentum vector you’ll see that your craft isn’t changing direction instantaneously.

Rotation doesn't stop instantly. Some of the high-torque ships like interceptors stop so fast you don't really notice, and to avoid pilot injury they have, uh, inertial dampeners. Try doing the same thing with a bomber or capital ship and see what happens.

Try art-probing with freighters.

This makes me wonder about a setting i can't really find any info on:

What's the difference between quadratic and linear controls?

Spin of Death is a very good way to see this
I'm sorry I don't remember any of it. For you the day spideycw graced your squad with utter destruction was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Sunday

My apologies.

Does it work when there is no gravity?

Can you feel acceleration, Gforces etc in space?
