Ever notice that there are never enough people flying scouts, specifically to probe?
Seems like there ought to be a way we can help fix that with core balance.
Higher speed? More EWS probes? Buff EWS in general? Let there be more shinies to pick up? (I have fun picking up the shinies in my scout...) Buff MRMs significantly and make them a scout only weapon, designed specifically for low-sig harassment?

Is it really necessary to inspire random voobs to fly through sectors at random in scouts? This happens quite a lot when adv and heavy scouts come up for a team. You shouldn't eye the other team's miners, bomb run, HTTs, SBs, whatever just because some idiot voob is flying around at random - it should be through deliberate scout deployment and probing.
Ever notice how hard this game is? Seems like there ought to be a way that we can fix it with core balance. Let's buff every ship until this game is fully idiot-proof.

The point isn't to make the ships idiot proof, the point is that the gameplay is designed for scouts to be used a lot more than they are right now, and the best way to fix underuse in something is to make it more fun (without imbalancing it in squad games!)
Also yes, Night, I think it is. In the pugs I've played since coming back, miners have been usually uneyed, cons have been usually uneyed, entire bases have been sometimes uneyed, and bomber runs have been uneyed at least half the time. This is not supposed to be this way. You really feel like, as a commander, you usually have enough scouts out?
Mind you, I'm talking minor changes here.
