You're the only one who ever agreed to burying the hatchet, Striker. Don't call for a truce when you should be surrendering. You see, we have zero tolerance for this stupid @#(!hole waffling that voobs who somehow got a bit of power like to do, where they say stupid $#@!ing @#(! and then try to turn things around so it was never REALLY their fault and also they were never really all THAT wrong and so on and so on. No, we're not going to $#@!ing leave it at this. Blood's in the damn water, Striker, and who's gonna take responsibility for that? Here's a hint: it should be you. But since you're too self-important and egotistic to admit it, we're gonna keep riding you like a SF miner next to an XT carrier, and you're gonna sit there and take it with nothing more than pathetic mewling to offer up as protest.

Obviously this needs to be settled by a XT+SF vs SysX game.
XT and SF have their own teams. Whichever team lands the killing blow wins.
...or if SysX wins, then both squads suck balls and can never brag again.

Makes sense to me. When we play squadrons on our level or a bit lower, we're more relaxed and level headed. When we play SysX, PK, etc it just seems psychological warfare steps in and we can't do anything right. It's been our weakness since day one.Jimen wrote:QUOTE (Jimen @ Feb 21 2010, 10:11 PM) SF, on the other hand? I particularly like the part on page 1 where Dorjan laments that SF just can't seem to play at their best against any of the squads that are better than them, but usually manage to bring their "best performance" against the squads they always beat anyway.
Actually it started when SF was reformed with most of XT stating publicly they were against it. A lot of people were not happy (including myself) with XT's collective attitude at the time. If you remember this was the old XT that boasted about having a "take no prisoners" bad ass attitude. SF was turned off by it and then we decided not to play XT because of it. Every since then SF and XT have not been on friendly terms.Jimen wrote:QUOTE (Jimen @ Feb 21 2010, 10:11 PM) Heh. And no, Striker, why would we leave it at this? You guys started this, now you can finish it. No, not by making the usual wussy "why don't we all shake hands and call it at that" draw territory. I want a full-on resign.
I'm trying to put an end to it right now. I'm dead serious. Let's put the past behind us and lets move on.
No thank you. I'm not the one ranting and raving here. Why can't you set aside your hatred for a minute and see how this type of behavior doesn't help the community or this game.Jimen wrote:QUOTE (Jimen @ Feb 21 2010, 10:11 PM) Bend over and apologize for crapping up this thread with your whining. Otherwise, we're gonna make you suck it up and suck it down, and you're just gonna have to deal with it.

Well no amount of forum lawyering, posting, etc is probably going to change anyone's opinion. However, let's analyze what you just said for the sake of it.
Dorjan admits in his first post the SF played poorly and XT played very well. Drizzo comes in with a snide comment and says SF plays like we always do (reading between the lines) and XT played like they used to back in the day. Dorjan responds saying XT's start was average, but if SF had better organizing at the start it could have been stopped. Dorjan states that it was a very bad game for us.
Spidey jumps in to stir the pot and Rav comes in with an unbiased opinion that actually makes sense. Dorjan goes on the defensive a bit and then XT comes in with the full court press. I replied to Spidey's "not to be a dick" post and said some things about the game based upon what I read. XT members make a few more posts and Dorjan posts another defensive reply.
To me on paper the game doesn't look like a "curbstomp". The stats don't show anything that says it. However, I wasn't there so I can't comment on it. I should have worded my reply better to reflect it.
So I'm going to ask one more time to the entire XenoTech squadron. Let's put this stupid feud to bed once and for all. Enough with the stupid and annoying bickering already. Can you step up to the plate and so both SF and XT can do something that will actually help and not divide this community?

I'm sorry I don't remember any of it. For you the day spideycw graced your squad with utter destruction was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Sunday

My apologies.

Striker, your squad is composed entirely of pussies and you have behaved like pussies since the reformation of SF, and this has always greatly amused us and made you an easy target for our ire. Until you stop being pussies, the answer to the following question:
Is and always will be: No. $#@! you.Striker wrote:QUOTE (Striker @ Feb 21 2010, 09:34 PM) So I'm going to ask one more time to the entire XenoTech squadron. We still do. In fact, that's what we're doing, right here, right now, in this very thread. It's as real and obvious as you trying to pretend SF is blameless in all of this and all of your problems are the fault of big old meanie XT and you've never done anything to earn it at all. Why is it that this is all our fault and not yours, and why is it that "putting an end to it" involves a lot of sacrifice on our part and none at all on yours?Striker wrote:QUOTE (Striker @ Feb 21 2010, 11:34 PM) Actually it started when SF was reformed with most of XT stating publicly they were against it. That was rhetorical, by the way, not an invitation for you to post more of your teary bleating. You are getting dogpiled for one reason and one reason only: you (and to a lesser extent the rest of your squad) are a stupid person who says stupid things to people who are more than prepared to rake your ass over the coals for it. If you want to end this, you could start by putting aside your pride and owning up to your many, many, many mistakes. I'm not talking about some half-assed nicey-nice "I'm sorry we couldn't get along better" crap. You're gonna hafta try harder than that if you want us to stop having enormous fun at your expense. Might as well get out a pillow and be prepared to deliver that apology on your knees.

The more things change, the more they stay the same. I'm amused over the responses and childish behavior in this thread. See you in April. I guess at this point it's safe to assume it will be a very interesting game.

Until then keep it real XT.
