How About Fraps?

I'm new so pardon me if this has been suggested or exists somewhere; I just haven't found it yet.

Would anyone be willing to record their matches for public viewing? I would love to see the game played the way it's supposed to be played. I'm still propelling my worthless ass around in Scouts to try and learn as much as possible, but I think a recorded match would be a great help.

Dark - join AFS, and then CDT.

We have links in there to some stuff like this to help you.

When you do, its quite common for members to sit in and watch some squad-games on sundays.

I actually am not hosting them anymore - but if you are interested in seeing them just ask and I will put them up again. I think SaiSoma may be hosting some as well.

It would be nice to see some squad games (the good ones) on the frontpage available for download. Will definitely make it for a promotion and give an idea for the player how non PuGs look like, and no, I doubt everyone will be willing to join CDT to be able to watch the game at a certain time of the week and year.

I completely agree but to pull it off we really need some sort of skilled collaboration. A fraps can easily run 40 or 50gb prior to compression then the audio track needs to be mixed in then it would be nice to do some video editing and maybe have commentary about the game. It would be nice to have this done for 3 or 4 games just so people can see but it sure is an awful lot of work

Those that can, should. Perhaps less playing and more frapsing for a time?

I'm glad my stupid question sparked some enthusiasm! I think a squad game on the front page would be a great idea! Unfortunately, I have no Fraps experience beyond watching the videos, so clearly I have no idea how much work is involved. Good luck to you though!
