I figured out how to get Vista and Free Allegiance working, searching this topic on the forums has provided me with nothing. Has this been figured out already? Is there already a thread pertaining to this?

Thanks.

<Vista here
works with no problems

might want to run ASGS with admin rights and check what version of .Net you have installed

There's plenty of threads in the Helpline to show that we got it to work.

I don't have Vista, but when the opportunity presented itself for a friend, I got it to work almost immediately due to having read the discussions in the Helpline forum.

Weird. I specifically searched in the helpline for Vista related threads and found nothing worth mentioning. All I did was uncheck the installation of c++ and direct x files when I opened the installer. That made it work. Is this how you all did it?

I just ran the installer clicking "next" etc when necessary.

Hm, I tried that awhile back last year. It kept giving me this critical error when I asked about it over TS they said that it didn't work yet with Vista.

I run it on Vista with compatibility mode set for XP no problem. I may have done that without thinking though; I don't really trust Vista to do much for me.
