Fool on you too then TJ....I made the mistake of chasing his scout and wasting the fuel and ammo. He was more useful to us flying circles in a ship than a pod. It was his tactic of drawing us for that kill that got our op killed, nearly made us lose our last miner many times and allowed them to Cruiser our Exp and Gar. Striker is evil :lol:

Actually, that was my point for flying out in the middle of nowhere. I was drawing defenders away from whatever we were attacking. =)

FYI, I was laying a probe network when a few of y'all decided to chase me. That was fun. I was laughing when I got podded.

Rix pwns IC, actually. It has the power on its figs to kill IC miners before they rip, they can expand similarly (Both can go enh cons on high cash setting). Rix may pay a bit more for their tech, but they can pressure IC much easier early-mid game with SR's and offensive play.

Top this off with extremely powerful endgame for certain RIX paths, and sub-par endgame with many IC paths, Rix can use their strengths to bully IC around if played correctly.

The problem is that most teams don't play Rix correctly, and using simple (and easily counterable) tactics such as bombing, IC can seem to some players like it has the edge.

maybe in a pug
there is a reason rix v ic is rarely chosen for sgs. srs are easily counterable. stopping 15 lt ints with basic figs and scouts from wiping your miners out is not

Well Dreg also has to contend with massive hitboxes. I find that I prefer to go up against dreg ints than any other ints just because of those hitboxes... Belters are a second (but dear god it takes a lot to bring those bastards down).

It does not.
In a SG, SRs are primary target and quick to die, since unlike in a PUG, pilots actually knows their stuff. And at 500 a pop they are a good way to cripple yourself at the start..

You hit the nail on the head. SR scouts are usually the first to be targeted.
