^snufkin@SRM (Rix Adv Exp) vs *Dorjan@SF (IC Adv Exp, Sup and Drydock)
Limited Diamond
med/med:normal

*edit note: I realised I didn't put a lot about SRM in there. They did have a stout defence as we threw int after int at them feeding their KB! They were so tough I thought the only way to get them was by using the big guns, sorry SRM you guys did great and deserved a better shoutout*

We get enh cons and our op went low

Our forces met low and a stand off happens until the rixian op arrives on scene causing me to shout CHARGE on Mumble. We get the op and ours plant while one of their SRs get one of our empty miners.

Our tele planted near-low ready for our exp whilst their opening tele and ref were eyed far mid. They (as expected) push a op high but we fail to kill it as we boost through a prox field...

We were also pushing an op high but this time we lost the fight and their op plants high and ours yavin (the sector below).

Just after this happens we get our ints and start killing miners everywhere. Shortly after we have hvys and SRM are down to one miner.

We get Adv miners to protect against any more pesky SRs and notice something... that we will mine their tele/ref sector as they clearly wont!

We do this and get 3 full rocks and no dead miners so I get a shipemacy.. oh crap... mis-click.. oh wait we have enough for both! So I finish the sy and put it near-mid and push the sup far low (as the rock is behind the far-low-low aleph which is epic good) and a nice rock for the tele too.

SRM try very few times to get our miners but they always hit the wrong sectors, I kept our miners (adv IC miners) well away from them most of the game giving us hvy class and drydock. I got the tele to our sup as hyro grabs a battlecruiser with skycap3s. Wizard wants to join in on the fun and gets a cruiser.

To get a good opportunity to get their exp I rip in a miner next to their home and let it get eyed. As the enemy rush it we rip in our two cap ships and start defending our miner. It dies but not in vain as SRM lost a good 5 pilots from their now needed defence. We head into their exp full speed with Hyros battlecruiser at the front and wizards cruiser a second behind. This split their fire long enough for the nans to get in and nan the @#(! out of a 1% hulled Hyrocruiser.

The exp pops and we roll on to the garr but Wizard, being over zelious to rixian gat1 basic figs (with exp gas ofc) gets killed in seconds of the camp. Hyro however used his Hyrocruiser to pop the garr.. gg.

Special shoutout to Sono and our scout detail (I think Kofi and striker I think) who provided us with most of our probe network. They had no chance to get a drop on us and that they didn't. Thank you to our new recruits who followed orders and did their best.

gg SRM

Not epic compared to the GB-RT 150 minute marathon, featuring 31 dead bases! More on that soon.

GG though, always fun to see sy :) I Like the sound of the "hyrocruiser"...

Yes. Our base kill count was 2. More dead cons than dead bases.

The moment that made me :)

What my report didn't really show is how well SRM actually did. We just were always one step ahead but their defence and offence were really good.

Finally...some acknowledgement.

That opening op loss really soured that game for me, considering we whored SF, yet lost the op.
But teamwork won out..and SF had the better team on the day. That and a number of other key decisions went your way (that cruiser nanning being another)

Would love to see the kills summary though...even though you had heavies for most of the game, we used a single miner to get Heavies adjacent your op sector.

Indeed, we were mining your sector though while you did that  Indeed we should've got that miner! Your KBs were fed bad come the end.

dorjan why does your alleg look so much uglier than mine?
I'm sorry I don't remember any of it. For you the day spideycw graced your squad with utter destruction was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Sunday

My apologies.
