From Australia.

Planet 225-230 - preferred
Solap 260-265 - ok
GPZ 360-400 - unplayable

No Packet loss.

I am on a gamer profile with my ISP but don't have many drops.

I am changing ISP's who supposedly have an excellent International network so hoping pings stay same or get better.

Canada (you will have to guess where :P )

I don't recall any of my pings, but here is where I think they are around.

Solap - 30-50
Planet2 and GPZ 110-130

My packet loss is 0% under usual circumstances. Never checked it in a sector overload though :P
After our commander rushes an OP to their home: I launch AB then enemy comm AB launches. I'm not giving any names.

Stop telling us we are whining European

The recent change to GPZ makes them a viable server for me to play on now. For every server, for whatever the $#@! reason, some people just get @#(!ty pings and packet delivery from them.

When GPZ switched service providers my personal concerns with pings/packet losses went in the dumpster. Now for me any of the servers is fine and living in Missouri atm (the middle of the US) I can't really tell the difference in them at all. Btw 50ms in the big scheme of things is *meh*. Each of the servers has rotated through a round of wtf regarding lag/packet lose. ALL of them.

What I get is this in triplicate: Those who can't play are hyper angry because the server that makes them cry is being played to the exclusion of all the others. Nature of the internet plus the factor of a game funded by people with more heart then ready cash.

The real issue is with one game all the time. If we can ever grow large enough again to have multiple games on multiple servers then imho the player base will explode. We have the chicken and the egg syndrome.

Exact same as MrC (although I never had a problem with GPZ to begin with)

I wasn't ragging on GPZ, they've been around, iirc, longer then Ive returned. It would be an arrogant @#(!head move to expect them to spend endless time trying to figure out my issues to their server. If the majority of people experience the issue then by happenstance Id get a fix too. It wasn't anything they did or could change rather just the luck of the draw on my end. They were/are fine fellows to provide a server for all of us to play on. This has been my opinion since day one btw.

250 - 350ms to Solap
230 - 300 Planet
300 - 400 GPZ

The results are:
- Hate flying ints or TF/RIX fighters unless we have tech advantage due to the fact that laghopping makes aiming bloody difficult
- Have to rely too much on missiles which means I am robbed of really enjoying ints
- Get called a 'lag exploiter' (obviously, the other pilot hasnt seen what I get on my side from them, or they might realise they are calling the kettle black, but for someone who does not top the kills very often and have to put up with bad latency and packetloss, this $#@!s me off the most)
- Find it easier to kill cons sometimes as I am harder to hit, and a con doesnt change direction very much
- Find myself spontaneously expoding apon entering a dogfight (no hull damage then pop)
- Have twice killed a lt con with 2 dumbs and a small amount of gat (it was like double damage due to lag..weird as hell)
- Have had dreg adv scouts pod my int becuase I couldnt get a bead or predict the lag ghosting.
- Have watched Shiz avoid 3 racks of dreg LRM3 without a single hit in a rix GS

Ahh..the weirdness of foreign connections.....and it continues....
