Emmet Longstreet was a bitch to Giga once he man handled the BIOS project and created them as his Praetorian Guard to everybody else including his former loyalties to Giga.
He died, and somehow someway BIOS could live and proceed on their own...
I suppose Emmet installed a chip of some kind to help the BIOS do stuff without Emmet's whispers.

As for the audio selection, I personally just like to pick songs that correlate to the Factions reputation.
When your faction is Bios, the game is going to be 'Far From Over' as even if all your miners die, and even if you're turtling with a Bios Adv Sup with Tp2 Fig Bees in one sector, you can still somehow inch a victory, because that's Bios.

Belters however, I will be using a very popular rock song from roughly 1-2 years ago.
