Would you consider changing the default topic visualization style to Linear+?

Here's the difference:

In Linear+, the first post is repeated at the top of every page. The head of the thread is always visible and I think it makes it harder for threads to rot and horribly derail; I know it helps me stay on topic.

You chose a silly thread to view in Linear+ because your main feature of having it show on the top of the page only works for when there are 2 pages you berk, not 2 posts!

I also have to keep changing back to default everytime I click on one of your links or otherwise i'm stuck with linear +

I find it to be horribly unusable

The snippets are too short, I'm not sure how the nesting is done, and worst of all I have to click on each reply in order to read it... or not. It's almost unpredictable...

Ahh your evil computer witchcraft has left me caught in Linear+ and now I don't know how to get back.

Yes, yes, I know there's an option to change it somewhere... as soon as I find it...

Aside from that, it's a neat idea. Maybe this will indeed at least remind people where the topic started.

On the other hand, if everyone keeps responding to the original post ten pages in, instead of to the on-going discussion, that might be a bit awkward too.

Edit: Oh, THAT'S what the big giant "options" button does...

There is *one* major drawback to Linear +

If the first post is longer than my browser window currently, I have to scroll down in order to change pages.

For that reason, I put forth a hearty "no" for linear+ as default.

Change to it if you want, but "Standard" means Standard.
