So you've got to write a program that can tell how often you fire a specific gun.

But wait, then people could pad their ELO by shooting nans off into space. Okay, then you've got to make a program that records how often you manage to actually hit with a specific gun.

But wait, then two scouts could pad their ELO by shooting nans at each other. Okay, then you've got to write a program that records how often you manage to actually hit a damaged friend with a specific gun.

Yeah, right.
hey, just an idea man... not like I know anything at all about programming...

and, I figured that the game could calculate (like it normally does) the damage of a ship. you fire the nan at the ship, what does it do? sends a message saying "look! I'm fixing you!" (I think, does it do that?)
so, what if it also said "give me points!"

don't pay attention to what I'm saying if its way off.

To dogbones:
turning max imbalance to NA? would that allow an infinite imbalance, or no imbalance at all? I'm guessing the first, and don't really understand how that could help

The "imbalance" in this instance is the number of players. ie with imbalance set to N/A you can have a team with 20 players vs a team with 10 players... N/A doesn't enforce that the number of players on a team are within 1 or two of each other. It does NOT refer to ELO Balance.

What Beer said. It would allow my example teams, 7 vets versus 13 average players, i.e. 7 versus 13, normally Max Player Imbalance of 1 or 2 would prevent this. Setting it to N/A allows any size versus any size (within the min/max player settings which are usually 1 and 200). This is a game option set by the game owner just a few down from the Map.

I wonder if some day I will come back to the forums and not see a thread about stacking.
