i would assume the person who created the sage forum account would have most likely picked the same callsign as most of us do,
but that was back in 2003 and he/she only posted once on the same day as creating the account as it was the last day they were online
i would have assumed the forum had its own sort of routine clean up of old inactive accounts?

Not to mention the inordinate amount of time that TE *does* spend on running our happy little game. For trifling returns, none the less. Spending months bumping a topic because you want something as meaningless as 'your' callsign freed up is tantamount to absolute disrespect for what TE does for us. He spends lots of time and lots of money keeping us running.

If I had a penny for every time I wanted TE to do something (and lets not forget that my coding lives to this day (via a trans-code (yup! TE again)) on ASGS), I'd probably be about as rich as TE has spent money on this game. I wait my turn just like everyone else. The most I get for my efforts is a quick response to a PM.

By now your cause is pretty much lost. Leave TE alone. Stop hassling him. He has a big-ass RL to deal with AS WELL as the collection of 'tards that form this community.

And get in line. My 101-things-to-change-in-ASGS are far more time-consuming and important than your callsign!

(I jest, of course)

Sage<whatever> will do just fine.
