if i try to play i am disconetec if
my firend try to loggin 2 and he live only 25 meters away of my so wth is that?

If you both played on the same PC at some point, with different names, your accounts will be linked. I believe if you log on another hider on the same account it will disconnect any other hiders currently logged in.

i will say that it whas a exedent! i play whif a close friend and we play at both pc on our pc.

the reson that he did play whas try to do a training a cadet so thats the only reason.

i hopethe staf wil unlink us.

Exactly. What you described is a classic symptom of being linked together. When nicks are linked, the system treats all linked nicks as a single player. Remember that this game was designed with dial-up connections in mind and disconnects were a frequent occurrence. So when the system sees you logging back in (from it's perspective) it knows the old connection should be dropped and therefore does it so that there's only one instance of you.

Heh. You posted while I was writing up my explanation.

To have the player accounts unlinked, we'll need some further information: we need to know which accounts belong to which player along with any hiders (alternative nicks). That way the admin knows how to associate and unravel the linkages. So post that info up:

My Game Nick, alternative, alternative (if any)
His Game Nick, his alternative, his alternative (if any)

If the admin has any questions, he'll PM you.

Once done, you need to be disciplined enough to keep the machines and game nicks separate at all times. A single mistake and the nicks will be linked again.

So post that info up and I'll draw the admin's attention to it.

Further reading about linking callsigns is on the wiki.

The only one who can unlink is Tigereye, and he is a busy man. Supply the info. Freeb asked for, and he will get around to it.

Ok, I've bumped it up to Tigereye. It may take a while for him to get around to it.

In the meantime, you can still play as a linked player and that won't prevent you from playing in your squad game unless the other guy logs in at the same time.
