For all those experiencing issues, check out this thread, and send your tracerts as MrC asked therein.

Rather than just post apocryphal tales the Solap admins can't use as evidence, , please do something to help if you can.

More evidence to give to the supplier, will I suspect still be useful.

Thanks

Probably the worst Allegiance server that i've ever tried to play on. Impossible to dogfight or do anything teamwork related.

:nono: Sorry Trax your just not that important, having a @#(! connection doesn't "dis-balance a team". Only you are $#@!ed in the ass by it ;)
niklindg wrote:QUOTE (niklindg @ Sep 21 2009, 09:03 AM) Solap kicked me yesterday because of ping issues.
 Solap didn't "kick" you, only MW could EVER possibly claim that Solap would "kick" him  . You lagged off.
Naboki wrote:QUOTE (Naboki @ Sep 21 2009, 10:22 AM) it sucks bad ass

on gpz i have 50ms on planet 160ms and on solap 150ms.
but the solap lag is feeling 3xtimes bader then the planet lag.

its one of the reasons why i am not so much online (since a lot of main games are on solap)
:boohoo: GPZ makes my connection unplayable Naboki, so I know how you feel, lets throw those three $#@!ers in a wood chipper too!
muman42 wrote:QUOTE (muman42 @ Sep 21 2009, 11:01 AM) Can't get on to solap at all.......
Muman this is 100% definitely you and your connection. Take heart I can't get on to quakenet because of my ISP

Continue posting, since I continue to link them to the threads... BUT be aware sometimes your issues are on your side, AND sometimes it's on the server side.

See the Devil's comment x_Avenger_x, and mine that follow; You can at times be passionate about things... nothing wrong in principle but keep in mind my good man that you play for free, on MANY servers provided for your enjoyment by MANY people that cost the providers well over five figures in total (even in British Sterling btw) and around here bitching tolerance = work done and you have put in very little work to hours played.

OK this is from me, the guy personally paying the money for one of many servers around these parts. Not anyone else, not TE, TB, Immz, Baker, Freebeer, BV, the GPZ crew, Aarm, Oderus, or Jpomail.. just me.

There is no way on God's green Earth that ANY $#@!ing connection to a server on this Earth is going to make everyone happy no matter what is done including allowing Mr Internet to cornhole Djrbk everyday through his left nostril until he blows his head off with a shotgun in humiliation.

If your experiencing problems trust me I get it, I care, even the $#@!ing sp cares, and we all sympathize but remember sometimes your cheap ass bull @#(! ISP is the issue and then sometimes it's just the Gods $#@!ing hate you in personal way. I sympatize but ah yeah.

I suggest quite strongly you remember three thing before posting SOME of this stuff:

1) I no longer play, post (other then Solap), or even want to read the forums given the recent stupidity.
2) This suggests that I have to hang about to basically be bitched at by people who are expecting miracles.
3) Im truely pretty $#@!ing feed up with the community's behavior in general and sooner or later Im going to go Crono x 10 on someone

At this point it's all in mostly good clean MrChaos humor....

Hugs and Wet Sloppy Kisses and yes yes $#@!ing yes Im still busily being a bee in the bonnett of my sp

My opinions in a nutshell:

If you bitch at the owner about it, buy your own $#@!ing server.

Muman's issue was solved as ISP related. He can now connect following a quick call to tech support.
