Unless you pre-target a base sector and disengage autopilot because you know you will need to rip out in a hurry...

A lag lump will cause the rip to abort.It counts down to 1 then "teleport aborted".

the autopilot ripcord fails all the !@#$ing time, drives me mad when I get podded because of it, it's infuriating.
So I generally target the intended base ahead of time, and hit middle mouse to rip =P
