He actually had more kills than that... 34, asgs didn't register it. In 25 minutes... impressive ye ole' bear
How to average more than one kill per minute
No we didn't, but let the record show that I think Pook was salivating when I started the garrison upgrade. I went afk for about 30secs and when I sat back down Pook was like 'er, the garrison upgrade has stalled' /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />Pook wrote:QUOTE (Pook @ Jul 11 2006, 09:46 PM) (No, we didn't have hvy scouts.)
I knew I could count on you Pook!

I really wanted to be flying a "chase cam" view of Pook, just to see how he did it. He single handedly stopped a 6 nan bomb run with prox.

Hehe RP, you're evil. I'm glad you're on our side. I like that kind of evil unless it's being done to me.
I'm sure Pook was waving his magical stick that night... case in point: this game:
http://asgs.alleg.net/asgsnet/recentgames.aspx?gameid=12377
I was in our last tac sector, catching a sniff of eye, but having the devil's own time of finding it. Clay... you're a sneaky bugger! (It was you, right Clay?) Anyway, I finally find the scout hiding behind a rock and he drops a TP2 probe. I run to spank the probe, but Clay sticks around to nan it. Bad Clay! Nanning probes is cheating FACE THE FACTS! /mrgreen.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="mrgreen.gif" />
Ok, so I have to pod Mr. Scout first, then kill probe. Fine. But these cheaters drop two more TP2 probes at another rock! (It was only three right?) So off I run to hit the other probes, but too late... bombers rip in. I continue on my path hoping to kill the probes to prevent further ripped bombers or support ships....
And here's where the aforementioned magical stick comes into play: I crash to the desktop.
Ok, says, I, get back in there... maybe, just maybe, I can get back to D the tac. But no! Pook's got an autoupdate active! So here I am downloading an update just so I can get back to D the tac. By the time this finishes, and I get back into the game, the tac is gone, I'm podded and Gui is still asking on TS why he's always the front sled on a drop. /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />
Pook... what do you call that move? "Bomb Run Insurance Through the Judicious Use of Autoupdate"? /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />
(and no, I'm not seriously accusing anyone of hacking... the timing was just really, really bad.) /mrgreen.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="mrgreen.gif" />
