all the issues we found during yesterdays beta test have been fixed

- eye in base
- friendly fire message
- docking at allied base in pod
- Server crash when boarding a turret

^-- all confirmed fixed

Thank you testers.

can anyone else besides broodwich confirm a problem or difference from R4 with joystick/mouse movement, also he reports crashing when dead zone set to none. both of these i cannot reproduce or confirm.

broodwich, you will need to make yourself available to me for testing any possible fix...again, because i cannot reproduce these issues. I sent you a PM.

These bugs haven't been fixed yet because don't have any developers interested in fixing them up. --Tigereye

found the issue with different response times with mouse and js. Turning off vertical sync fixed the issue after all of imago's code whoring and people stabbing it was a checkbox <3

Also happy to report some people /w fancy flight sticks and those using gamepads/XBCD should now work next Beta update. (i hope, i have no such devices to test with) it was quite obvious what happened with kgs directinput update.....

you can thank broodwich for that, hes the bitch that forced me to look through the directinput code to find his "problem"

I thought it was me ripping to a TF miner that crashed the server (The one you blamed KG on)

nope, turned out to be the fact boarding a turret triggers SetStation() and that was heavily modified for alliances, it introduced a bug in the code dealing with life pods docking at allied stations. It's been fixed. Thanks.

New known issue:

- No way to change refresh rate in game. Make refresh rate an in game toggle under advanced options and have it "stick" like all the other settings. (for now, you can launch the game with -software to choose an alternate refresh rate)

Another new known issue, Windows 7 related?

Need to put changes in 2 places, if we read the settings (CombatFullscreenSize) and they are 0 override to 800x600..... and if we are going to write the settings and they are 0, simply don't.

If you are on Windows 7 and find your graphics wonky, press escape, D, H to workaround the issue for now.
