I don't think so, but he is rather a perplexing character.
EDIT: I'm thinking of a "Pittbull" btw.

He was amazingly unpopular and lost to Jimmy Carter.TomBombadil wrote:QUOTE (TomBombadil @ Jul 5 2009, 09:27 AM) What happened to Gerald4?

Don't find fault, find a remedy; anybody can complain.

He was eventually upgraded to gerald 4.11 (gerald for workgroups) but was superceded by newer versions which incorporated greater functionality, but at the expense of that quintessential geraldness.
As a bot he was very advanced for 1958, but by the turn of the century the ability to build four miners an IC exp and allow it to autobuild and nothing else as your only strategy was begining to look if not one dimensional then certainly somewhat predictable.
He does however live on through his pioneering work in the field of punctuation. His revolutionary use of varying amounts of slashes as an acceptable substitute for everything both reduced costs for keyboard manufacturers and instances of RSI for VDU opertators immesurably.
