GAAAAAHHHH! Make ASGS work w/ 64-bit Windows 7!

I just installed the RC, and while I can now get ASGS to generate a key, it gives me a new error of "encryption/decryption error"

Has anybody gotten this to work on 64-bit Windows 7? And if so, what am I doing wrong? I installed it from the get-go as an Admin, like you all said, from a fresh install of Windows.

MUST PLAY ALLEG w/o INSTALLING XP!!!

Unfortunately Baconitis, you'll have to either wait for the XPM thing in Win7 or wait for the new ASGS, which is on the drawing board.

There are reports of working Win7 64/32bit systems. I have yet to try it myself, I will probably have time this weekend. The RC is already in a virtual box, so it should not take that long. (In case you are wondering, bacon, I turn off ignore for helpline requests.

Well, not much troubleshooting later, I receive the same error message, so you are definitely not alone. I will try to find a way around it.

Yup same here.. Came back to see if the NVIDIA issue that drove me away was fixed and the Win7 encryption/decryption bug bit me

I'll try XP compatibility and see if it works
