I see opening scouts and such drop probes quite a bit, but on a bad day maybe one in four drops anything that is actually of any use.
A bad probe is better than no probe at all.

Wrong. A bad probe gives you a false sense of security.

A bad probe can hide a good probe. :ninja:

But whatever you do, don't probe the alien anal probe...
Unless you use a pulse probe, but I hear those only last a minute.

You do realise this thread was at no point about SBs until you unilaterally decided it would be about SBs, Phoenix?

Yes, probing vs SBs is just useless. You need a living, shooting eye on those buggers. Woohoo. How is that even related with the point of eyeing miners, conses and bombers?

And this is my reply to you asking me why I "hated" you. Stop derailing, stop turning discussions around, stop wasting people's time. You're smart, I know you can manage as much. Thank you.

I'm not going to even pretend to be part of the argument or debate or what ever this is.
I do, however, have a question.

How many probes should one drop in a standard 4 He Rock empty sector with 3 alephs out? What is, exactly, good probing? And I don't want the generic answer I've gotten twice now: "Your probe eyes something and it doesn't die before then."
Watch out, alot of weird things about to happen... a Pig Flu.
