Increase thrust and make it free with Starbase?

Increase thrust to instant stop and put it in garr for 1k

I think it would actually get bought occasionally if it was like this

Which is why it would be good to have for scouts...

Someone once told me that retro boost was under exp in order to help wayward HTTs that missed their target . Unfortunately I later learned that was a lie; HTTs can't mount retro boost. But it would be kinda cool if they could.

I still have a soft spot for it. I'd be sad to see it go, even if I agree that under no circumstance should anyone ever BUY retro boost.

I like using retro boost, but I've changed my mind (see, it can happen even in the CC forum).

A few things:

a) Retro boost is hard to use, as you need to know to push both reverse thrust and boost when using it. It's a bit silly that this is required for this one rarely used crypto tech... especially as it has mass and makes your scout perform worse at other times.

b) The visuals are wrong. The booster plume shoots from the back of the ship, instead of the front. This would need a code change to fix.

c) Most importantly, Apochboi told me how broken it is, and what a huge load of work fixing it would be, even if it can be done.

Let's just let it go. I loved the silly thing, but I'm quite happy playing without it too.

If you can fix it so that it works as a 'brake' (ie. you press boost and your speed plummets to 0,but not into reverse) then keep it, else can it.
