This is a rich AJAX web 2.0 enabled multitiered groupthink exploiting system for tracking perceived problems, grouping solutions, voting on them and provide feedback on what the "development team" chooses. The workflow is approximately:
1. Sign up
2. Propose problem and solution (the wizard makes you check for dupes)
3. Mods approve the proposal for voting (they make sure it's not a dupe, that it's related, etc.)
4. People vote on proposals
5. Developers pick their solution, eventually leave a comment
6. Idea is implemented, goes gold
7. Idea goes into the "implemented ideas" list.
A good example of seeing this at work is http://brainstorm.ubuntu.com/ and I think the CC might find this useful to keep things tidy and keep duplicate threads/ideas from popping up.
