Confirm that you have the following installed:

Which Program (ASGS/Allegiance): ASGS

The window to the error message reads "Microsoft .NET framework", so that leads me to belive the problem is somehow related to the .NET

Any suggestions?

If its something that happens when ASGS updates have you tried running ASGSUpdate.exe direct from the alleg folder (without opening ASGS first)?

Can you provide an idea of the steps you go through to get this message?

Yes. I saw an earlier posting on this problem, so I opened up the folder where autoupdate.exe was located, and double clicked it. I got the same message.

Usually what I do is I open up ASGS, go to "help" then "update/repair criticle files". Still get the same message. The reason why this sucks is because I cannot host my own games with my current files.

I had the same problem. Download this and replace the files already in your Allegiance folder. Also, you might try deactivating Windows Firewall and see if that helps.
