after taking a quick look on ICE but having a very poor knowledge of how effective exactly these numbers would be heres some idea of stats
endurance: 500/750/1000? (dependant on the damage... want it so that around 5-10 ships can go through it before it disappears)
radius : 200
duration: 2-3mins
damage: 50/75/100?? (how is this sorted?)
sig: 25% perhaps... higher than a prox mine anyway
Vaughn Planning and concept
Endurance doesn't seem to make a lot of difference. Mines will do less damage later in their life, of course, but I can't really tell much difference.Mordikai wrote:QUOTE (Mordikai @ Oct 6 2006, 08:55 PM) endurance: 500/750/1000? Nans are happy people. They fly around, give out repairs, and overall have a lot of fun. Why are we killing them when we can learn from their example?

On second thought, I loathe my old banner. I want a good one, does that mean I have to work for myself?

endrance is the main thing with mines
its the maximum damage they can give out
if a mine field has an endurance of 1800, and a 750hp hvy flies through it at a good speed (but doesnt clear it totally) the hvy will recieve 750hp dmg and die, the mine field will then have 1050 endurance, so a 2nd hvy comes through, 300 endurance left, last hvy is then left with 450hp
well thats not totally true, but it illustrates the general idea (but mines are more complicated than that)
