Yeah same thing im reinstalling now . Hope that does it.

I've tried both (all) of the above, still the same thing, the endless loop.
It does seem to update, but the build # does not change...

edit: missed the reinstall part..will do.. :ninja:

Update critical files in the under the "help" menu updated properly to build 205

All I did was run the update from within ASGS right before I knew TE would post this topic. Worked like a charm!

Re-installs shouldn't be necessary. If your update is looping, just close it all and doubleclick ASGSUpdate.exe directly.
You should be fine after that.

Tried, didn't work, but it did update after selecting "repair/update critical files from the help menu inside ASGS.

Awesome Kofi, that worked. I was stuck in the aforementioned update loop too but for some reason that fixes it. :D

Using ASGSUpdate.exe directly does not work.

Looks like I'll be out of it for awhile.I'm on dial up and I don't know of a link that will let me download service pack 2 with a download manager.
