I'm not making this a rant because I'd like it if all voobs or lunatic vets read it:
When the comm keeps using capital letters for 2 mins yelling about a plan involving a miner or a con, please do not touch said miner or con.
Examples of what happened:
We were IC vs a fig faction, I had a tele and an op next to an enemy sector. I knew it was possible to mine this sector and I asked my team to just keep the enemy aleph camped(prox + light ints vs figs = easy). The team listened well, we had a nice camp going and our campers were getting nice kbs. 1 miner joined the sector. Others seemed to take longer than they should have to reach the sector. I finally noticed why they were slow when I heard the "miner" at risk message and then noticed that they were in a neutral sector next to an enemy one. We obviously had no camp on this aleph and no defense on them either(save for the guy who decided to drive my own miners). I mean, when the comm asks for a camp to d miners somewhere, the correct move is... to camp that aleph. It is not to take the miner somewhere else(particularly when the rest of the team actually listen to the comm)!
Another game, we were Giga vs GT. I was kinda forced to go exp, but it turned out alright(Beside that I got like 5/6 of the bomber kills on a tp2 run when we had 10 hvy ints). I decide to push a tac somewhere, so I yell in caps about it for 2 mins. I ask for hvy ints and nans cover for the push. What do I get??? yes, amazingly, I get nans and hvy ints on my con(Like 8 hvy ints and 4 nans). I then notice that the con was being really slow to enter. So I look at my con. It was moving away from the aleph it was supposed to use. So I resend it, scroll back up and notice that someone decided to build it far from everything(They had galvs and I wanted a forward ungalvable base).
If you can't figure out what is going on(Unlike most of a pu team, which says a lot), you should not touch the cons/miners.
The sad part is that the people who are the worst at driving their comm's cons/miners or just won't read the chat are also the same who always does it.
Touching Cons/Miners when they're necessary
Haha
I;'m exempt , since all of my miner offenseive sorties are sucessful scare tactics to confuse the enemy into attacking the mienr while our battleship rampages through, with the pilot yelling incoherently
get the $#@! out of my way!

I'm afraid to touch cons and miners AT ALL, even if the commander wan't me too, it still freaks me out.
Last thing I want is the con's death pinned on me... I hate being wrong and I hate $#@!ing up things for the whole team
