Remember, the stack rating is computed based on the difference in ranking over the entire game. In other words, stack rating says nothing about the relative HELO when you joined and therefore isn't a perfect indicator of antistack intention. Even if you always join the team that's down HELO, there's no guarantee that it will stay that way the whole game.

At least, that's how I understand it.

HELO is dead. Did you read the thread title before posting? Other than that, yeah... that's how it works.

Is there any chance of changing the rank name distribution? Given that only the top 10% of people sit within the top 50% of ranks. (Yes, I'm narked that after finally making Vet 1 under HELO I'm back to Inter 7

I've been giving this some serious thought, as it happens. I've not made any concrete decisions yet, but it is certainly something I'm looking in to.

So a negative stack rating also means teams you join tend to leave due to your ineptitude.

I'm narked that all of those games when we have been turtled in our home, where I was exploding myself on prox for comedic effect have $#@!ed up the one area that I seemed not to stink in.

On the other hand this may prove that AS works.

Well the stats go back to 22nd September 2005, which is a year more than Helo had under its belt. You sure you weren't just drunk and comming by mistake?
