Can not connect to Lobby

You got the "Failed to connect to lobby" error while trying to play beta?

That's strange. Very strange.

Agnoeo, can you post a screenshot of your router configuration page? The one you're trying to add the port forwards to.

Woah what a back-ass router config /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":o" border="0" alt="blink.gif" />

Click "Help" at the top and find out what your router uses for "wildcards" in its masks. I'm wondering if the 0.0.0.0 sourceIP means "from any IP" or if it means "from no IP"
Maybe a 255.255.255.255 means "from any IP"

the source IP of 0.0.0.0 and netmask means any ip. I had a hell of a time understanding the manual for this.

The thing that might be causing the problem... the port map has a value of 2300.. which it isn't supposed to have..

It's basically forwarding 2300-2400 to 2300 internally. Hmm.

Well I hope you guys arn't confused too much. I don't even have this much trouble figuring out and understanding girls at times haha. But I do appreciate you guys trying to figure out this problem!

Heh, I'd like to meet the person that designed this interface... and slap them.

Ideally, we'd like to have ports 2300-2400 outside, mapped to 2300-2400 inside. I don't know how that modem's supposed to be set up for that.

Can you edit the entry and put a wildcard symbol "*", in for the port map field? Barring that, try putting in 2300-2400 for the field.

I put the wildcard symbol in, and it said has to be between 1 and some other number. Also the field only has room for 5 numbers, so I could only get as far as putting "2300-" Right now I just put in a 2400, but still the same problem...

Sounds like you need to use DXPort and the forward just two ports. 2300 and 2301.

So
1) Get DX Port downloaded and installed
2) Add ports 2300 and 2301 to the port forward of your router (TCP and UDP)
2b) Make sure your forrad to yuour PC's address.
3) Start up DXPort and configure it for 2300 and 2301
4) Cross fingers
5) Start up Alleg ...

Have you added the rule from available rules to applied rules in the port forwarding screen?
