My new laptop wont connect to any game server

I read in another thread that firewalls may not be turned completely off even though you disabled them. Also Nortons gives Allegiance problems. I have nortens what should I do? How can I be sure Nortons is the problem? I once had a friend anti virus program expired and I had to reinstall it to turn the @#(! off. So even if it is a Nortons problem and I disabled the fire then uninstalled it, would Nortons still give me problems any damn way???? How can I stop this pounding head ache?

Completely uninstall Norton, then reboot. Try Allegiance. That's the only way to be sure.

I am having the exact same problem with my Vista laptop. Let me know if you figure anything out...

Create your own thread please. Remember to fill out the template (details in the big box above, written in bright letters).
As your problem might seem similar, it also might be caused by something completely different. Also, keeping peoples' problems in separate threads helps us keep track of each one.
