If you'll just stop posting then you won't be embarrassed "to even be a part of it anymore."
tl;dr bye bye and don't let the door hit you in your ass
This is a terrible response. The last thing we should ever say to a frustrated vet leaving is "HAH, finally!" There are a ton of reasons that people are leaving... we should try our best to limit these as best we can. We've seen a 30%(ish) drop in our active playerbase in the past year. The LAST thing we should be saying is "don't let the door hit you in your ass".
I've talked with BV and I'm satisfied with what went down. Not ideal but whatever. One thing that still needs fixing is this $#@!ing terrible thing I keep seeing, the general "Anti-stack" community telling the people that disagree with them to just leave the community. Stop. It.

Spidey can't move threads into rants.

Why do you guys all have burrs up your arses if you don't care anything that happens with the game? You all just blindly take it, and then praise your admins that screw you over.
Well I feel like there are other ways that would maybe gets the change he wants other than just hopping into one thread - saying how embarrassed he is then riding out on his pale horse again. Doing a quick search I couldn't find any other posts from him expanding on why he doesn't play or anything (if I missed one sue me) except that he is embarrassed about this issue.
There have been lots of things I disagree with the admins with and tbh usually BV is pretty tolerant and generally understanding about such things and makes a change based off input.
Its much better to open discourse than to come into a thread and posting one time about how much admins suck etc
I'm sorry I don't remember any of it. For you the day spideycw graced your squad with utter destruction was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Sunday

People just take stuff too seriously I think. Except IB, of course.
Personally, I think juckto's response was misintepreted, and I do think BV was too quick on the trigger. Maybe he should've allowed juckto to explain himself and we would not have had all this drama...perhaps. I think most of the people in the this thread are misintepreting things and making an issue of...a non-issue they know nothing about.
Yeah, juckto was playing on an account other than his own, but was he doing it to have the opportunity to get the jump on vets/break HELO/make a political statement? Who knows, since I wasn't involved. You guys have spent the last two threads going back and forth without actually knowing any of the facts. Just stop it. You don't know @#(! about what went down. I don't know either, YP doesn't know, the only people who know are juckto and the admins and they have ceased posting in this thread/remaining tight lipped like they should.
Don't talk @#(! about something you know nothing about.
It's all well and good to decry the admins and their barbaric tactics, or on the other hand brown nose them like the carebear you are, but don't use this issue as your platform. Juckto's ban offers no evidence to support either view because you people don't know what happened. Simple.

Convict in well thought out and coherent post shocker!
Well done Crono, to my mind you summed up the incident pretty much perfectly.
Spidey: Can't think of a reason I'd need to know anything
In the enforcement zone there is a thread 9 pages long. The purpose of this thread is to report newbies with unusual activity (aka newbies who are really vets). That thread was created in December of 2007. Its the third or fourth thead of its kind. What this says is that this is a problem we've been dealing with for quite awhile.
Despite repeated warnings people keep making newbie hider accounts for various reasons. Now that the hammer is being brought down on them the flow of these accounts seem to be subsiding. Those of you who think it doesn't affect gameplay for the rest of the community need a reality check. I've been in games where there have been multiple flagged accounts on one team creating a closet stack. It looks like teams are even from a rank standpoint, but in reality the teams are far from even and the team without newbie hiders gets owned. The admins are simply trying to promote good gameplay for the community.
Perhaps juckto made an honest mistake. But if you have three or four more 'honest mistakes' on a team the net result is the same. Gameplay sucks. I don't think BV's actions were a statement against juckto but more of a statement of wanting good games for the community. What's the problem with that?

well, sorry for the disturbance then.
carry on, nothing to see.
Now if pook was here this entire thread would be deleted and replaced with this post.
