Okay, So I now I have suspicion to believe my name is broken in the ranks or something. I got my friend playing this game and he's played a total of 2 games and is already a novice(1) and both those games were losses. While I've played a total of about....i dunno, 20ish, in about 4 days and I'm still at newbie(0)

WHY?!?!

Especially since most of my games are wins, which is what i was told is what the ranks were based off of. Can a mod please get this fixed....especially since I've gotten the rank up twice already and logged on different mornings to find it resetted.

Thank you

In reality, rank here means nothing. Rank is just a way for the server to try and help balance games. You should use your low rank to your advantage and start podding people who are high above you in the 'rank' collumn

There are issues with ransk at the moment, but rumor has it ranks may? or may not? be reset soon, so it matters little. Just play and get better, and your rank will figure itself out. Don't worry about it.

PS. If alot of your games are on the newbie server, it might be because you don't have enough people for it to count as a game. Try getting on the regular server and playing one game. Your number should change.

I'm already a returning vet that's the problem. I would like to com a few games here and there but no one plays for zeros no matter who they are.

Well... if you want it's possible to set your AllegAge to vet (15), though it may well be best to simply go through the steps. I think Tiger is handlying things like that. /huh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="huh.gif" />
n.b. I may not see a forum post replied to me or a pm sent to me for weeks and weeks...

Ripchord, don't worry about your rank.

If you're an old player who only recently returned, you've got a lot of catching up to do anyways.

Just stick with it and you'll get your rank back up in no time.

It's far better to be an over-skilled 'newbie' than an under-skilled 'vet' !!!

In the same situation, played 20 games+ or over the past week, still at the never played at all rank also. When I've played the whole round, usually in top 5 of the points for the team, but points are meaningless now.

Only problem I've had with the low rank, you tend to get stuck with one or two people that are taking a dump on you b/c of the number stigma. You catch them in a round when its not stacked and put em in a pod, they tend to stop acting silly. Just nan, scout, recover pods, the stuff you have to do b/c few willing will.

Figure after a month of playing will check into the day 1 rank issue if its still there, for now I couldnt care, think of it as your idiot detector. Oh, try to have patience with anyone telling you to do something you already are /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

If you would quit creating new accounts and sign in with your OLD account, your rank would be where it should be /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

Just for clarifaction, Points mean nothing to your number. ELO win points matter.
