My first command game

I realize that I'm leaving myself open here so don't be too harsh. What did I do right and what did I do wrong?

And thanks again everyone who played with me for doing most of the things I asked and some of the things I didn't.

From what I hear, I got stacked agianst. I imagine that was a welcome change for Saints. Last few times I saw him command he was the one with the short stick.

I had fun, which I hear is rare for a commander. But if you go in with lower expectations I guess you don't get so angry about things.

So anyway post your constructive criticism after the tone... BEEP.

Well, I can't speak for most of the game, but when I joined, you had expanded low and high on HiHigher. That's a very exposed position, hard to defend... and it leaves your miners vulnerable no matter where they are. Try to seal some sectors off so that the enemy has to walk past your bases to get at your miners.

To poor overkill

I do have some useful advice. Join ACS, also ask any of those I mocked to back sit comm a game or maybe just ask after a game why they did this or that. All of them are the real deal.

Also do a synopsis of the game ( like terra and guitar do ) by copying the game chat log. Even more helpful is a jpeg of the game map to ease the discussion.

Yeah I'll fly mostly for a bit then probably go to ACS. I'm not ready to seriously get into commanding. It just came up and I gave it a shot.
