Ok you see i just reinstalled my game and had a happy smile and clicked the Game list and suddenly i had to wait FOR 21 mins for update :(. Also i found the most hardest file to download was the BSG core files (CC_03 and other files downloaded smoothly) which i have no intention of playing so i was wondering either to give us a control to download which file first or stop the update and download them later since i would just download CC_03 and i can play or we could just gather all the update files of a month and stuff them in a Zip file and put them online for download so we won't have to put up with the updates but since we have a ASG update so i guess this 2nd idea is quite useless. But think about the control or you could provide us with the file codes in filelist.txt so we would just write them in and would not get to download even we didn't had them and when we want to download them we would just delete the filelist.txt and get the full download which we left.

Why do the BSG files update separately anyway? I don't mind waiting for the updates before Alleg starts. But when it's fired up and I'm expecting to play it's very annoying to have to wait on extra file updates before getting in-game.

BSG textures are HighRes (cap textures are 8 MiB), no idea why HighRes files are on AU.

You don't need AU control, we just don't need HighRes files on AU. ;)

The history of open-source Allegiance is paved with the bodies of dead code branches, forum flame wars, and personal vendettas. But a community remains because people still love the game.
