As I mentioned in another thread, sometimes the interweb is just slow.

I just ran a test (I sent myself a PM and I have notifications on) and I instantly received the notification. So at least that part seems to be working. Just to be sure... you created both a game account and a forum account, right? (They are separate things.)

Correct. The ASGS 2.1 system recognizes that my account exists but is not activated. I have waited a number of hours now with no joy. There is the possibility that it is slow, but rarely have I seen a system that slow. :) I will give it 24 hours and see we're at.

Yep. Post back after the 24 hours and if no joy, I can bump it up to the admins.

Yeah, I've still got nothing. Tried the activation system this morning but changing my address, but still no email. I just came back from being out for a few hours, with no email waiting for me. Tried another account again, still nothing there. Could this get bumped to the admins? I really don't see what waiting will get me now except lost time.

I will, of course, periodically keep trying, but it would be great if I could also receive from external help. Thank you!

It must be a problem on your (server) side, cause all my accounts working correctly (getting mails etc.)
Maybe some admin (tigereye???) could manage this for us, or who is the guy we must talk to?

FYI, I've bumped the issue to the admins. Give it some time and thanks for your patience.

Hmm.

Starting at about 8am ET this morning, all emails are just sitting in the queue waiting to be sent out.
I'm not sure why the mailserver isn't completing the sends.

I'm investigating.
