Any hint of ever adding Effix to CC?
*doesn't really know that much about said faction, just wondering*

QUOTE Once engaged 13 and a half Dreg Heavy Ints (at the same time) with an IC Int and emerged in a heavy int with 2 mini 3 and 1 mini dis and all foes destroyed

I may not completely agree 100% with the proposed changes, but I do agree with thier methods.
To Quote Tkela on his time balancing the game for MS:
QUOTE Going from "stealth fighters are too powerful" to deciding to reduce their agility by 40% is the hard part. If the change is too small, the players may not notice the change and you get no feedback on whether you are changing the right thing. If the change is too large, you may make the game even more unbalanced than it was before the change. As bad as that is, however, making large changes (even though you may need to partially reverse them later) seems to be the most effective method for achieving a balanced game. After a large change, you get immediate feedback on whether you are changing the right thing and a better sense of how large the change actually should be.[/quote]
bold added for emphasis. Making large balance changes and fine tuning them later has been a vitally important part of this game's development process for a very long time. The CC team just appears to be following in that tradition, which I think is a good thing.
In case some of you haven't read the full article, I recommend this interview with Tkela by IGN as required reading for anyone before they start discussing balance.

CC to be released very soon!
I decided to relive the days gone by in my new blog.

Remember, what I say is IMO always. If I say that something sucks, it actually means "I think it sucks" OK?
