Need a way to mark a forum 'tree' as read

Suggestions, problems regarding the site and other community facilities.

It would be very helpful if we had a 'Mark forum (and sub forums) as read and return' option. As it stands you need to dig down through a forum (some times 3 levels) to mark it all as read so it does not show as having unread posts in it. Once I've skimmed/scanned a forum 'section' I'd like to mark the whole section as read.

Wow, something I knew about the forums that others didnt.

Clicking on that lil icon saves sooo much time!!!
