I had to at least try, to see if the "how many miners can you get" competition was even worth a post.

im satisfied that I cant do it, but find myself thinking I may be shorted/ misled somehow.

BV, its your fault. You tempted us. /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" /> Tell someone not to do something and you know they'll do it out of sheer curiosity.

Its like, if there was a end of the world button, and someone put a sign saying "End of the World Button. DO NOT PUSH", the button would have been pushed long before the paint was dry. /blush.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blush.gif" />
If knowledge is power, and ignorance is bliss, which would you rather be, happy or powerful?

do you mean f6? not f5

i've seen unknown on f6 for location, an "unknown" number of miners would just be weird.. and i doubt it can even happen

If you start on very scarce money settings there will be no he3 in your home and your opening miner will be in unknown sector until you move it on f6.
There's a new sheriff in town.

Well, someone told me how to do jimmy's exploit; does that mean I should report him and have him banned? /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />

Look,

Enough with the childish drama. Jimmy found a bug, Jimmy used it to cheat, Jimmy refused to tell the devs how it was accomplished, Jimmy got banned.

We don't need any more armchair lawyers making their opinions on the technical letter of the RoC nor do we need them trying to match each other in a battle of wits for which they are unarmed. Cheat and you're banned - period.

Simply put - if you know how to do it and it's reproducable, inform Dogbones so that he can investigate and fix this bug so that it won't be exploited further.
