Can't see why would that be a bad thing. I was forced to install/reinstall alleg quite a few times and it's very annoying that each time I have to reconfigure my controls.
Discuss.
Save controls config in account
Yeah for example on a cd. Played on 4 different computers since I started to play Allegiance and I installed it countless times. Would this be impossible / very hard to implement, or would just take too much of precious time?

It would take up a TON of space.
IF you did it for each callsign, which is the only reasonable thing (with the prevalent linked accounts and stuff like that), and even if each file was only 1 kb, you'd have a ton of files.
over 56000 callsigns that had never been logged into or hadn't been logged into for three years were deleted recently. That would be 56,000 kb, about 54 1/2 gigs. That's more hard drive space than quite a few people's computers have, and that's just for the inactive callsigns. How many callsigns are there that have been logged into once in the past three years? How many are there that people do use?
Compare that to the people that would benefit - most people don't uninstall their alleg at all, and most don't change computers much anyway - to those that wouldn't care, and it just becomes unfeasable

I'd say only 1 config file per account. And 56 000 kb is only 54,2 mb, not 54,2 gb, although that may be too much as well. But I doubt we have that many accounts (though we may have that many callsigns). Anyway, as stated, ignore if this is hard to implement.

Alrighty I'll follow your advice then.
