Juckto: Indeed, you are right. However, I had noticed many people giving their vote as well as a time they will age further without any reprimand. I had then assumed it was perfectly fine to do the same. But I see I hopped in at a bad time for you.

What's the point in reprimanding people that answered the question (via the poll system)? They could talk about measuring penises with a slide rule for all I care, as long as they can answer the original question.

Sit back and enjoy the ride. We'll be here for a fair while yet.

Usually though, "skill" is used to covertly mean "match the game exactly to my level of competence." Anyone who is at all worse than me should fail utterly (and humorously!) and anyone better is clearly too caught up in the game and their opinions shouldn't count.

juckto: I had answered the question in my own way, and it seems a fair amount of others were able to get my answer rather easily. It seems you are the only one having a hard time grasping the fact that I had indeed answered your question, but in my own way. Just as people are allowed their opinions, they are allowed their own methods to an end.

tjbutler: I think I've seen that thread, unless I'm thinking of something else. Regardless of where I saw it, I found it amusing. XD

And the results are in!

The '08 stats ('07 in brackets):
Total votes: 131 (109)
Average age: 27.1 (27.0)
Most common age: A tie between 23 and 19 (21)
Median: 25 (24)

And here's the pretty picture:

But what is interesting is if we take the '07 results, add a year, and then compare with '08, we can see what the age of people leaving (bars below the axis) and people joining (bars above the axis):

p.s. Awesome, you can edit your own polls with the new forum.
