Agreed with Drizzo and on the topic of Belter ints you could shape up their mounts a little too because since CC has come out I have not seen a single Belters Exp game. Hell, people are willing to go Belters Sup against IC and get whored rather than go Exp. Madness!

Giga lux ints needs more fuel as well imo. Imo, the giga hvy int is much more usefull than a giga lux int. The ripcord is a bit too slow to be usefull and the lack of fuel hurts them a lot imo. I don't really use the lead indicator... At least, not as much as I use the extra fuel of the heavy int.

I think lux ints should lose the lead indicator, get hvy int fuel and a faster rip time.

As for hvy ints, Just better gunmounts would be fun, but their real problem imo is their big model. if they were just a bit smaller, they could be a bit better. Still, I think the strenght of giga exp should come from the speed and econ bonus of giga rather than from strong ints.

Keep the lead indicator! I love being able to not have to worry about actually aiming! Not to mention, when I fly against giga lxy ints, I love spoofing the crap outa them and their lead's, and podding them all to hell

Kouple of pointz.. Belt exp PWNz.. You just kant fly em.. I once got Shenron up past 350 mps WIth my hvy int nan and a well placed power up... ALso Giga INt gunz rule I luv em.. Just gotta use em right.. AND U should give lux intz more fuel.. JUst should they r LUX.... BTW On the CC doez beltz still get omni figz.. just askin.. Mreh

Yes Belters still get the Omni fighter. There are no plans to remove that peice of tech or rebalance it.

I think it's fine. Giga hvy ints aren't supposed to beat other hvy ints, just like belters. Both are meant to win using other means than whoring.

Running away? Or getting podded? Because I've tried playing with those two strategies and they don't seem to work!

Now yes, Giga HTTs have the best pushing hitbox, plus a speed perk so you can get them to insane speeds with Hvy Ints, but Hvy Ints don't have nans, and Giga Lxys don't have any fuel. So they're not as effective as Belter Hvy Ints and HTTs in that regard. Which means when they get there you have to shoot enemies, and considering the gunmounts and the fact that the enemy are probably going to be shooting the HTT, it's fine.

These are facts however:
In any dogfight assuming equal pilots the Giga Int will certainly get podded.
People don't like commanding Giga Exp or flying for it because of their crappy ints (hint: like IC Enh Figs)

I have no idea why people think tech paths like Belters Exp or Giga Exp are "fine". It's like every single game is a squad game made up of two all-star teams. Well they're not. Most games are pick up games. And most teams ARE incapable of using Belters/Giga Exp as they're "intended" to be used. Making these TINY perks to Giga and Belters ints are NOT going to be gamebreaking. It really pisses me off that threads get locked when we're still talking about the fact that GIGA AND BELTERS EXP ARE NOT PLAYED AT ALL. It'd be nice to see crazy techpaths like these played. Instead of the same thing, Belters Tacpremacy or Giga Tacpremacy. They are ALWAYS played. I mean does the CC team not want these techpaths to ever be played? At this stage you might as well take em out because they're used only to supplement a team that already has Adv Sup or Tac, or both from my playing experience.

Speaking as a commander, I would very, very rarely command either Belters or Giga Exp, and as a player, I wouldn't fly them either. What we are suggesting are not game breaking or overwhelmingly powerful perks. Things like changing the gunmounts of Giga Ints would be exactly like changing the gunmounts of the IC fig. IC sup is definitely played more now, is it such a problem to see Giga Exp played more too?

I'll repeat what Drizzo said. Are we being ignored here? By people who don't command and thus think based on a theoretical discussion Giga or Belters Exp is anywhere NEAR on par with their Sup or Tac? Making these small perks is not going to make them the dominant faction tech choice. But it might make it played more.

And that's a good thing, right?
