FAZ != FAO
And there I was wondering at first: "Hmm, Spin was in FAZ? He never told me." /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />
Why can't FAZ remember me ?

FYI it took me a year to figure out what ffs means.
BTW mystery solved. I disconnect from the internet regularly.
If Invision boards rely on IP for added security then there's nothing I can do except request a permanent IP from my ISP, which I don't want.
I think this security measure is overkill but if it's the IP then it's not worth bothering to fix.
Thanks for all the help fellow allegites !

ImmortalZ, are you perhaps behind a NAT system? Or a sane dynamic system that gives you the same IP most of the time?
I am quite convinced it is IP, because I have seen the same behavior, and moving a computer to a new IP address seems to be enough to be logged out.

A lot of guessing here but it should be based on your public ip, i.e. whatever gets picked up by DynDNS, etc.
The only time I have to re-log is if my external IP has changed, actually I use to use the fact that I had to re-log in as an indicator that my IP had changed. I now use DynDNS.

[unless it tastes bad, then it is yours.]
My public IP changes every time I reconnect - and I reconnect several times a day. It can't be based on that - I haven't relogged in ages!
